Both of these players have been in for some unfair stick this season but they have really shown their worth for me. Olpherts knows where the try line is and will continue to score more trys with better players around him. Richardson is a great goal kicker who Saints are probably wishing they had in their ranks at the moment , but for me, he is a better player without Trueman.
Olpherts is a done deal to Leeds I've heard. Definitely playing better on the left wing like most our players do.
If we do end up losing Olpherts we have a good player in QQ who’ll score a good amount of tries for us.
I don' think that Richardson was particularly good without the ball yesterday.
I thought he had 30 minutes off in defence and did some shirt grabbing! Managed to get back a bit for the last 10 minutes though and a win is a win.
mdean hardly surprising that he isnt relishing the physical stuff though with the neck issue, Ithought he had another mostly solid game, along with Greg and Olpherts (that lad gets through some graft taking the ball up)
Personally and only my opinion I think Olpherts has come in for some fair stick this season.Ok he can score some tries but he's not the best defender and gets caught out of position too many times for me,don't think he'll be a massive loss if he goes to Leeds ,as I said only my opinion.
Delboy66 which is fair.... but I believe its more to do with our right side defence. I believe whoever plays on that right looks poorer than playing on the left.
Olpherts has played on the left recently and looks a different player in attack and defence.
Both were outstanding tonight I made Olpherts my mom he's played out of his skin for about six weeks
tigerfeat2 For me Olpherts has been our most consistent player all season . Richardson deserves his place in the current team as well as he continues to excel without Trueman.
Gutted that it seems we are indeed losing him, a great squad player all day long, the stats don't tell lies. Thanks Olpherts for helping to keep our season alive, good luck for the future.
