Normally we do pretty well at magic weekend and it’s a fixture I look forward to. Even with some injuries they picked up I can’t see us coming close.

    Definitely get beat.
Leeds could play with 8 men and we’d still lose.

the item below was taken from the club statement, but i cant imagine what the club can do to turn this horrid situation round: -

“With the changes the coaches and players are making and a couple of new additions to the squad, we believe that we will have a second half to the season that everyone can be proud of”

Cas with an 8 point start on the handicap, would be amazed if we kept it that close even with Rhino selection issues. Let’s hope Leigh do a number on Wakey, come the end of the season points difference could keep us up.

Hepworth Agree with you, if I were a bookie I would be offering a double digit start, even with Leeds’ challenges with bodies..

yorky Agreed - I don’t want to be a cynic, but believing something doesn’t make it any more right or achievable.

        I believe I am 6′ 2′' and dashing!

Well I’m pretty confident we won’t have any new recruits by Saturday so we’ll go with what we have.

I know we’re currently failing miserably on the pitch but we are creating opportunities and simply not finishing them. Should the final passes actually stick or we get someone to break the line with support to pass to before the inevitable tackle comes in, you never know.

          Big Leeds win!

Thats about right. We tend to score 1 try a match so it may be 36 -6

Great try from Wallis was that. Amazing what happens when you have younger players who can actually attack and run.

Dominated play in both halves, but can’t score. They look at our line 4 times and score 4 times.

I’ve given him some stick this season and as an ex international and NRL player he really should have stepped up and been someone we could rely on.

That said other than his shaky start he gave us a decent structure to attack and we looked a little more threatening.

There’s something to work from in that win. Keeping Wallis and QQ on the wing would be a start, we need some youth in the squad.

Hopefully Leigh take the points tomorrow and we can feel a little more secure this week.

Can’t see anything else other than a Leigh win,and a hefty one at that, quite confident they’ll cover the 16 point spread and then some. Depressingly for Wakey they will then come up against a wounded Rhinos side with a point to prove. Could be a good week for us in more ways than one.
