    Matt

Crikey we are low on squad numbers.
Could count the young kid we just promoted from the reserves.

Just seen a photo of the cas lights switch on, Mustapha for a prop looks tiny at the side of joe westerman.

Not sure where we are with cap space now but would hope there would be some given the players who have left, otherwise we do look a little light both in terms of numbers and quality, hopefully the powers that be have something up their sleeve.

Kind of four in and four out to a point. Trueman, GOB, Olpherts and Blair out.
Msutapha, Vete, Widdop and Miller in.

Sticks, Rocky (1/3 probably makes up the 2/3's that Blair counts as if that makes sense) and Feki had limited input. Although they did add depth.

Looking at all the comings and goings Blair out and Holmes back would have been an optimal outcome..... if's and and's innit!

We still need a Center imo.
I wonder if we are going with the youngster just promoted from the reserves.
All quiet on the broadbent front.

So what we reckon then for first game if all fit? Maybe something like,
    1 Evalds
    2 Quare Quare/Faraimo (I’d go QQ)
    3 Fonua
    4 Turner
    5 Eden
    6 Miller
    7 Widdop
    8 Watts
    9 McShane
    10 Lawler
    11 Edwards
    12 Mellor
    13 Westerman

    14 Robb
    15 Vete
    16 Massey
    17 Matagi

I have no doubt we have plenty of talent in the above, but I do worry it looks a bit Dads army if you know what I mean! Hopefully the likes of Mustapha, Sutcliffe, Mcleland, Richardson, Sammy Hall and Brad Martin can bring some youthful exuberance and put some pressure on the ones above. And of course we still have the unpredictable but occasionally brilliant Mamo, the steady duo of Smith and Griffin and the hard hitting but often penalised Milner to fit in. I also think we’ll end up keeping Rocky, as his form before his injury was really good and barring his bad luck I’m sure he’d have been given a contract for next season at least.

looks like a good squad but i still feel we are a tad suspect in the centres, but we will soon find out.

Daytona agree on the dads army front, that centre pairing has a combined age over 70!

It already feels a long off-season!
