Good to be going into our enforced break on the back of a more positive performance. A couple of things to ponder,I was mightily impressed with Okoro and would like to think the club would be looking at turning his loan into a permanent deal,still slightly raw but massive potential. With Milnes due back for Catalan I wonder where that leaves Rooney,perhaps the most talented of our youngsters and would not deserve to lose his place.
Hopefully a but if time of and some training will be good. Then a few players back will also help.
Still early with Okoro and we’ve got him all year to assess him. Milnes back will be great but he’ll be rusty. QQ back would be good, if not, rooney to wing for simm.
I thought QQ was a couple of weeks away so may be close but the club seems to be regressing a bit on the communications again,I don’t need to know the ins and outs of everything but an injury update would be good,our social media use and Website still sadly lacking. Shouldn’t have to be scrabbling around TotalRL and LRL for titbits. Saw a snippet purportedly from Maguire saying we would still consider an overseas signing if it strengthens the squad which I assume would mean freeing up cap space,could be absolute horlicks of course but it’d be nice to know.
Or a European player. French maybe.

It’s Salford players are up for grabs, we should grab a few.
Is there really any descent forwards at Salford.
Ormandroyd, bullock are they really good enough.
Ormandroyd had a stinker against us.
Saying that I think the Salford squad must be totally dejected with the carry on’s.
Maturecasfan Have to agree on Ormonroyd and Bullock,the former was poor against us and while Bullock did make over 100 yards against us that has to be put into context as Salford and us are bottom of the stats on metres made vs conceded. I think either would be seen as a panic buy,yes they’d add depth to the squad but little in terms of quality.
Bullock i think is decent and would add something to us. Ormondroyd is a bit ‘meh’.
Despite his age Watkins has a good 18 months left in him. Young Kai Morgan is a promising player as well. Just turned 20, came through the Leeds academy. Impressed at hooker against us but is a halfback by trade and could fill that back up spot we have.
There’s a few that would make us better but it best players are out overseas players and we can’t afford to lose them
With the announcement Rooney is going to be out for several months looks like a return to full back for Hoy with Milnes providing he comes out of his weekend outing back in the halves. Shocking news for Rooney personally and with Hooley going on loan to the Bulls we are looking decidedly short on cover.
Players get injuries and lucky we’ve got hoy who is our best fullback and milnes back.
