Got everything I wanted tonight, good team spirit and excellent defensive effort id have settled for that but getting the win ,and deservedly so was the icing on the cake.

Enjoyed my trip home and it was well worth it,

arrived depressed and expecting nowt but the boys came good

It was a good journey back to the coast with two whino fans in the car

Onwards and upwards I hope

Always enjoy a win over the Whinos but I have to say we were still sketchy with our execution in attack. Still, a platform is laid giving us something to build on.

My Whino workmates are blaming Olpherts and say we only won cos we gave him to them but in fairness, Faraimo did exactly the same, even in the same corner.

There did appear to be more desire in the team but I think this comes from actually competing and building self-confidence. Andy Last may have opened the door on becoming Coach but it is only ajar.

Tell you what Matt, I believe radford was part of the problem.
He never should have been appointed coach.
He never showed any passion for the club, even when we won he was so nonchalant, his interviews, he never looked at the interviewer and was constantly fidgeting.

Last showed all the passion in one game, radford showed in all the time he was with us.

Also watts and westerman seemed different players
Macca ran with the ball, with freedom.

Let’s see how he goes in the next 2/3 games, then we can make our minds up if he’s the man for the job.

Greg Eden made a comment when given mom, he said "the players want to play for Lasty" does that mean they didnt want to play for Radford?

I have said before that Lasty cannot polish a turd, but he certainly rolled it in glitter last night

In my opinion this mutual respect between coach and players ie essential and Lasty should be given the job till the end of this season with extensions dependant on performances. This will stop any complacency setting in and also stop him getting too comfy before he has shown us just how good he is.

The good times are coming back ( god i am so bloody fickle, i was depressed yesterday morning)

An overconfidant warrington may prove to be an easier nut to crack than a very desperate Wakey, especially if they come to us winless

I think we can get 4 out of the 6 on offer if we keep up this level of intensity and the ball sticks to hand.

Huge game for Wakey against KR on Thursday,they lose that with St Helens away to follow and they're in deep trouble. Their match at Salford was close but on every measure it was Salfords worst performance for a long while. As others have said throw the kitchen sink at Wire and adopt a no risk strategy for Catalan, the slightest doubt about a player and leave them out. Focus on Wakey and opening a points gap between us.

Wakey have got lucky as Hull KR will have about 6 of their best players missing against them., and will probably win.
