With 15 players out injured, we had no chance of winning, but unfortunately at their place next week it will be an even bigger hammering. They could well get 80 against us next week. They are by miles the best side in SL, and have lost just 1 match since July last year. Did anyone seriously think we were going to beat them even at full strength.

We’d have run the close of the rfl had allowed us to in the first match. Didn’t expect a win, didn’t get a win. Did we get any injuries or are any bans incoming?

RaoulDuke Seen on twitter some people up in arms over the namo tackle that broke isa’s ankle. I saw the video this morning and it looked like he (isa) got his foot stuck in the turf. So he could be one in trouble with the disciplinary knowing our look. Looked an ok tackle to me.

RaoulDuke Namo was the third man in, but his initial contact on isa was around the hips. Imo just a pure accident. You see that type of tackle many many times per game.

And, if we never did think there was bias in the system, the Catalans player Bayley Sironen, also charged with a Grade E offence, was cleared. First decision from the panel seems pretty clear that tyjey considered the incident very serious but, somehow, Catalan have provided new footage and he got off.

I tell you,whether it’s injuries,refereeing decisions or just the bounce of the ball,if it wasn’t for bad luck we’d have no luck at all. We fronted up first half against the best team in the comp, Wigan are class and while I fully expect them to win comfortably in the end,we’ve matched them in terms of effort,whatever happens second half our ever decreasing squad has shown enough already to suggest we have something to take forward. It’s Lingards job to ensure that whatever 17 we can put out has the same approach.

Better than i thought it would be. Mo lack of effort this week but we lack the brains and brawn to be able to compete with a quality team like Wigan. A step in the right direction after last week though.

i wish sky would show the incident that led to “all” 6 again’s as is in most of the cases I’m mystified what the problem was, its just an excuse for the refs to get at the team they don’t like, just like the olden days when the scrum half / hooker was penalised for feeding the scrum / feet up, its a total lottery & a bent one.

6 agains are a lottery we lose every week. Can’t understand it because when both teams do the same thing but only we get punished.

I thought it was a good performance against the best team in the hemisphere especially with the juniors in and the drubbing we got last week.
