With Leeds and Salford right behind us we need the points from this one. Do we have any potential bans coming from the Catalans match?

Matagi should get a ban. Definitely a late hit. Called it when it happened before the red pulled it back.

Mellor also could for a high hit on Tomkins. I'm just hoping this one hit the shoulder first.

Moving onto the squad news and the Cas Head Coach makes three changes to the squad that was victorious over the Dragons. The big headline news is that the versatile centre Jordan Turner is back available for selection for the first time since April, following a shoulder injury that he picked up against Hull KR.

Jake Mamo and Cheyse Blair are both named in the squad declaration after missing out on the last match due to head injury return to play protocols.

Adam Milner and Suaia Matagi will be unavailable for this Thursday’s match against Huddersfield and next Thursday’s game against Warrington after picking up two-match penalty notices in the win over Catalans.

Meanwhile, Sosaia Feki’s season looks to be over in another cruel blow to the outside back who had just made a terrific return to action and his Super League debut against St Helens less than two weeks ago. A tear to his quad was revealed by Lee Radford on Friday night and it looks like it will rule Feki out for the remainder of the year. The Club wishes Sosaia a very speedy recovery

Being short on props this week with only Smith Griffin n Lawler we either give Martin a shot or could we see Blair given a small spell at prop 😲

You'd drop O'brien who imo was man of match last week?

Leutele is in the Hudds squad so whoever plays right centre is going to be on their game. Personally for this, I’d consider switching Fonua out to right centre with Faraimo to offer some combative size, as well as Mellor. Question is then do you move Mamo to left centre for pace or keep Sutcliffe in for his performances.

For me, the side should be:

Eden, Faraimo, Fonua, Mamo/Sutcliffe, Olpherts, O’Brien, Richardson, Griffin, McShane, Lawler, Mellor, Edwards, Westerman.

        Smith, Martin, Turner, Sutcliffe/Mamo/Blair.

Turner isn’t match fit so needs to return gradually but his versatility at 3/6/11 could be useful off the bench, similarly Mamo instead of JQQ if benched.

I can’t see huge changes from last week’s team given how they performed.

Jackknife I genuinely didn't see him, despite looking for him. He'd be in the halves with DR, Macca back at hooker and Robb missing out.

But is richardson fit to return himself? Rib cartilage is a painful thing! So maybe mcshane and obrien to resume at half backs with robb/lawlor taking spells at 9

Swiss-Tony I've seen an image of DR at the Captain's Run so read into tat what you will. Thankfully, we don't get to pick the sides from our keyboards...

Mahe Fonua reaps rewards of new approach

In a season where injuries and suspensions have wreaked havoc with squads up and down the Betfred Super League, Mahe Fonua has been one of the few players who has so far managed to be ever-present for his club.

Have they turned up the volume of the fans. There's not that many in there but the crowd noise is so overly loud.
