Set to leave Catalans at the end of the season. Worked under Powell for years with us and honestly I’d have him back if he’d take up the assistant position. Obviously that can’t happen now due to Robinson.

I dont think another experimental head coach is what we need right now, we need an established head coach to hit the ground running and get us into a respectable league position.

At the moment all we are doing is giving the RFL reasons to move us down a league and if that happens they will have achieved their original plan for the Wakefield area and never let us back in.

Rowley or Watson seem the obvious choices to me

I agree.
We need experiance.
The last 5/6 coaches bar radford have all been inexperienced at SL level.
The stumbling block is, will experianced coaches want to come in and try and sort this mess out that we are in. Who knows.

Personally think we rushed when we brought Robinson in. Think we should have either waited for the new coach to come on board or held out to see if anyone else came available.

Watson/Rowley with Sheridan provides experience at head coach level and an assistant with knowledge of our club and a pretty good success rate when he was alongside Powell.

I agree with what most people are saying about an experienced head coach. I'd prefer one who coached in Oz but beggars can't be choosers.

He knows what it’s all about.
Would he want to come back. I’m sure there’ll be other clubs after him.
