Sad to read of the passing of Billy Boston,one of the true greats of Rugby league and perhaps the original “Tank on the flank” although that may do him a disservice as he was a very skilful player too. Both he and Tom van Vollenhoven the flying South African made quite the impression on a starry eyed nipper.
