I understand legally the club might be in a tough position, if they've been told to stay quiet it's difficult to update the fans on the current situation.
That said it's not putting the club in a good light. We've got rumours circling around 2027 signings not wanting to come, now Ashworth leaving and the issue with Carr is still unresolved.
Love Rugby League podcast seems to believe that some news will be imminent regarding Carr - if he has gone then we need to have a new coach in place before pre-season. Rowley, Watson and Lenihan have all been mentioned or applied last time we were looking, I'm guessing at least one of them will throw their name in the hat.
It's such a messy situation. Coming in to this season I thought we might see some stability after a rough few years, how wrong that turned out to be.
