Signings and next season

Might have missed some but we have signed 4 backs in Sloan, Cook, Feagie & Johnson, and only 1 forward in Mulhern.

Seeing as we already have PLT, QQ, Mapps, Valimie & Taffe signed up we seem to have 2 to many backs, and quite a few short in the forwards.

How do others think about our likely line-up next season and. our shortage of decent forwards.

I think we’ll be bringing in a couple of forwards.
If we don’t, it’ll be as you are.

stuey Damien Cook is a hooker rather than a back but you’re point is still valid we are still short on quality forwards,while we have several generally reliable options we don’t really have one with that X factor you need,someone who can consistently put us on the front foot. Nor do we currently have the halves who can find the pass to put the forwards into the gaps. Backs wise we have 2 or 3 progressing through the ranks,forwards not so much they still seem a way off. I heard a couple of weeks ago we were in discussions with an NRL agent regarding a signing but nothing since. I think a lot may be put on Cooks shoulders as an organiser and leader going forward,he will be an amazing signing for Cas but it’s a big ask.
