stuey RaoulDuke No-one played well. QQ took his tries well but, unusually, very poor under the high ball. 3 or 4 tries came on his wing from Trueman bombs dropped by QQ. Cas are consistently inconsistent, and have been all season.
Hepworth For me Jason has been relatively good under the high ball this season though he clearly struggled last night, you have to credit Trueman for his kicking game it was outstanding. According to Carr last nights18 were the only fit players we had which is doing it tough but still no excuse for capitulating like that however good Wakey were, and have to say Wakey were impressive. Goulding tore a hamstring so he’s going to be out long term as is Valamei with the same thing. Throw in a few head knocks and we are going to have to blood a few youngsters.
pirate One step forward , 2 steps back, why am I surprised. Wakey are a good side (that stings) and at the moment we are nowhere near that standard Its the hope that kills you CTID
Hepworth RaoulDuke I thought Brown went ok and Ashworth tried to front up but the pack was pretty much dominated throughout. I’d think those two have some kind of role to play next season. But pack wise the likes of Atoni and Stimson offered very little, Mellor always puts in the effort but took a real clattering,Lane looks like a journeyman while Hood is starting to show signs of wear and tear. We are definitely a few short in the pack so hopefully the rumours are true and we’ll be having a couple of imports arriving for next season.
