Weather is going to be hot and the fixture is in the middle of the afternoon. Hopefully the team coach breaks down and saves everyone the embarrassment of another hammering.

Matt That’s easy enough after the last couple of performances. Can’t say I’m expecting too much though be interested to see how Ashworth goes if given the chance. I’m not a fan of wholesale team changes but given what we’ve churned out lately I’ve changed my mind. The culture and ethos within the club needs to change and we won’t do that with the current squad.
I’m so looking forward to Damien Cook arriving,we’ve lacked a leader on and off the pitch and for me he’s it,his current team mates talk about him being the consummate professional and how he always leads by example, and we certainly need that. To be fair one player wouldn’t have made a difference to the dross we turned out at Magic but that single inspirational spark against York and we’d have been home and hosed by half time.

Ravalawa comes in to the squad as Maps injured himself in the warm up.

Unlucky at one end then unlocked at the other. The gap between Senior and Ravalawa was criminal.

As did I,no clue how we are level at half time but I’ll take it. Big up to Sam Hall who’s taken some right stick on some forums,he had a decent first half. Qareqare is all effort and you’d hope it rubs off on a few others. And Ravalawa,well I’m fitter than him but he’s lethal from a foot out. That’s not enough to keep him but fair play. Best ref we’ve had all season unless you’re a Leigh fan and even the post played a blinder. Not hopeful but hey after the last few performances I’ll take it

Thought we had enough to win there. Both tries were harsh against QQ. A penalty against Senior was fair enough but the yellow was a joke.

Just seen the game stats,pretty impressive given our recent performances the only thing that let us down was play the balls in the opposition 20. For the numbers we had the points return was pretty poor. Highlights the need for more creativity from the spine.
