Have we got an assurance we will not be relegated or are the club just assuming we will not. I honestly can not see us retaining Cook, Feagai & Sloan if we are in the Championship. It is stated that the Huddersfield IMG score is now better than ours, as is Hulls, and I can not see York, Toulouse or Bradford being jettisoned after just 1 season. so every chance it could be us who get the chop from SL. If we do go down, it will be several cancelled contracts.

Perhaps we have got the assurance and that is the reason all the players in the team are not bothered about their perfomances, as they know they will still be in Sl nest season, or leaving at the end of the season, and can`t be arsed to put in any effort or decent performances.

I have a feeling nothing will happen this year in regards to the IMG grading. It's the first season with 14 teams and two of those don't even have full funding.

I know London are killing it in the Championship but I think another year to build and then maybe see about bringing them up.

If anything the RFL need to focus their efforts on the Championship. It's a mess and merging the leagues hasn't done anything to help the sport.

I hope you are right but we are playing right into the RFLs hands, they never wanted 3 SL clubs in the WF postcodes and this is a gold plated opportunity to rid themselves of us.

Paranoid? maybe but hey have history of relegating us in favour of other teams (Wigan and Catalan).

We will definately lose points for lower attendances, the crowds will drop dramatically and almost a full season of p**s poor performances will see the end of us in SL.

And be honest do we really want another season as whipping boys?

Would we survive in the championship? I doubt it

pirate I’d agree with the majority of that even if we are a little paranoid,but the RFL do have a history of royally shafting us.
Only point of contention are the attendances,we are actually averaging more than we did last season so we won’t drop any points. In fact if the club gets their fingers out and puts on a shed load of offers for the remaining home fixtures we could average 7,500 which would gain us points. Can’t see how Huddersfield are confident of boosting their score. They’re losing their ground,attendances are dire, on field performance score will drop and but for their sugar daddies input they’d be out of business.

I just have the feeling we know our score will keep us in Sl next season, hence our performances.

The players who are leaving can not be arsed to put in decent performances, Why should they, they have nothing to lose.
Those who are staying know we will not be going down so they can not be arsed either to put in decent perefromances.

As a rresult the team overall could not give a toss how they performance and put in crap performaces, knowing they are not going to finish in the top 6, or get relegated, so nothing to play for. That is the big fault of IMG - no jeopardy so no incentive to play well.

Maturecasfan Absolutely,need to show their employers a bit of respect and if they’ve got any sense realise they’re in the shop window and turning in performances like they have been won’t get them a contract anywhere else.

Maturecasfan As I said previously , set them on painting the railings, cleaning the bogs and generally tidying up the stadium. Do not pay them to sit in the stands
