I can't see a win coming in the next 8 matches, maybe even more as we don't have great form at Catalans, Bulls will probably win which leaves 2 points from Giants.

I had so much hope before the season kicked off. On paper we looked like we'd be alright and with a new coach things were looking up.

I really hope 2027 offers something different.

We will win our last 2 matches, and lose our next 9. By the end of the season, we may be in a situation where we HAVE to win those last 2 to avoid finishing last.

10 games I think, we only play saints once. That said we need to find wins from somewhere or we could be in trouble if the Giants find form,they have 6 home games in the last ten starting with Bradford this week,realistically I’d only expect them to be competitive in 5 of those,one being against us. Their game with Bradford this week could be very significant if that 8 point gap starts to close and they get a bit of confidence could be squeaky bum time..

A few places are saying that the Giants have improved their score and it could be York that drops down.

Matt I’ve seen that,just can’t get my head round it,they’ve benefited slightly from the changes for catchment area but then so should we,they’re also expecting a small uplift on media engagement with barely believable social media figures and this is the one that takes the biscuit,they will actually gain points because digital advertising boards have been installed at their current ground,so they’ll get additional credit from IMG for having new advertising boards in a stadium they won’t be playing in! That’s just ludicrous.

Yes, I read that somewhere as well, also that they are confident that their IMG sccore will get them to stay in Sl.

As for London, they WILL be in despite the above, as they will fiddle their IMG score , like they did with Bradford, to make sure they are in. IF it is based on IMG scoring, then York will be the team to go down, which in my eyes is wrong as they have one of the best grounds in Sl, get consistently larger crowds than Huddersfield, are a better team than Huddersfield and the biggest catchment area of all SL teams, apart form London & the French teams. Plus the fact they have had this season, with Toulouse, 1/2 the amount of funding as the other SL teams.

So they install a new LED system, get the extra points, then play at a different stadium next year. What a ******* joke.

So its York or Toulouse down to get London in. Another joke as both those teams got 1/2 the funding of every other team in SL. The whole IMG system stinks the place out!

I struggle with this whole thing - Our chairmen have to vote for this stuff, they're not done to.
It is so naive, but it certainly stinks.

It's probably easier in NRL where PVL merely decides on financial returns and markets and don't even pretend there is a meaningful system.

Feel for York if they do get booted from SL. Certainly don’t deserve it, they’ve performed well, put together a good squad and haven’t just made up the numbers.

Meanwhile you have a club at the bottom of SL, heavily funded by one person in a stadium which isn’t theirs and sits empty on match days who’ll survive because of some made up numbers in a spreadsheet.

One day the RL might have people in charge who actually dig deeper and look in to fixing the issues that go further than Super League.
