We appear to be heading in the right direction. Off field there’s a sense of stability and improvement and signs are looking positive on field. I’d like to hope that we can continue it on for the remainder of the season and at least sit near the playoffs.

Off the field is excellent now. The ground is shaping up, the extra use of the ground is coming along (events etc) and there seems a plan to move us forward. Still work to do on the food but the drinks options are great and plenty of places to get a one.

The team is shaping up and with potentially 6 signings coming in. We are getting there.

We have rumours of McNamara, Mulhearn, Sloane but nothing else, so there's some shocks coming.

This weekend we see Cook, Sloane (left wing) and Feagai ( right centre) play for the dragons this weekend on Sunday morning 5am away at Canberra. Might get a chance to see the highlights later in the day .

An update on the new players coming in...

All 3 st George players played today in a win against West Tigers.

Feagai players right centre, strong in defence and scored a try, with a bit of luck added in as it came off his foot. But he still had to be there. Played 80 mins. Good save game and can pass right, which our right centres can't.

Sloane played half the first half at left wing. Scored a try then went off with a hamstring issue. Didn't return.

Cook started at 9, moved to left centre on Sloane's injury moving Valentine Holmes to the wing who scored 2 tries, one from a lovely pass from Cook. Fancy having a starting 9 good enough to play centre and play 80 mins.

Not a bad day.
