These new ‘recruits’ continue to raise questions about the Club’s recruitment policy and/or it’s Director of Rugby.
I take on board Davies is on a rolling contract, for now, and may fill a short-term vacancy but this also raise a question of effectiveness. Would the younf half-back we already have do the same thing, at no extra cost?
Stavely is another player we’ve recruited who has had, and may still be recovering from, a serious injury. Again, there’s a get out clause in that it appears to be a trial but it also raises the question of efficient spending.
Could we have looked for better options in the position we are desperate for new blood - Prop? Not just any t’old prop but one that can actually play in the first game on Friday, and provide some quality?
I hate giving it the Club don’t know what they’re doing chant but what is Danny Wilson achieving? Wasn’t he the man that built the shower of dross at FC?
Second rate lads from PNG or bust up or old or useless, seem to be his forte.
