Growing up on Duke street we always went and watched the lads training and Heppy was the one who always threw the ball to us wide eyed youngsters and encouraged us to play a bit while they were training, he often got a bollocking for that, Cas were notoriously tight with balls and equipment, then at the ripe old age of 11 my dad took me to wembley (69 and 70) and i was hooked on Cas and RL in general. Heppy in the modern game would have been one of the few from that era who would have killed it in Superleague and would be a promoters dream, he always made time for a chat and to offer advice to any aspiring kids.
Rest easy Keith, you earned your wings years ago
