Very disappointing tonight, Miller and Milnes ineffectual,errors galore and absolutely no go forward from the pack. Matveyev a rare beacon of light in his first stint in terms of effort and industry but El Zhakem who we know can play looked like he was already on the plane home. And sadly Mustapha and Namo just aren’t good enough. Macca didn’t deserve to go out like this but even for a player of his undoubted pedigree this looked like one game too far.

I am in my notice period at my current job and I am hiding my being “checked out” better than some. Although my effort doesn’t hurt as much as theirs.

ta-ta season 2024, not been one to remember. Occasional flashes of what could be, but on the whole D- for me.

I disagree with Maturecasfan, Lingard can only work with the tools he is given, I highly rate him as a coach and with a few additions and a fully fit squad we will get better under him. Sam Wood was a massive loss to us at a crucial part of the season, as was Senior (2)
One good thing is that i wont miss any Cas games on my 2 week fishing trip to the Norfolk broads next week 😊
