The sin-bins killed us. They scored 18 points in that 20 minutes.

Nothing in the sin bins. No bans coming, they were marginal at worst. Griffin Head knock, so will be missing next week especially as he missed the start of the season recovering from one.

All in all, proud of the team against a nearly full strength Salford.

Thought Corey Hall missed some tackles and left qereqere to clean up on more than a few occasions. He did get better in the second half.

We should have been out on our feet after the defensive effort of the first half but kept in the game and without the sin bins, I think we would have done it.

A great effort by the team. Very proud of them and the fans that went.

Decent performance all round, we looked better with Putt on the field,he’s got go forward and aggression in attack and defence,sadly it cost him what I felt was a deserved sin bin,that together with Hornes cost us dearly as they came when we looked to be taking control. But I did think Salford were much the better side first half. Have to agree re Corey Halls defence,it’s not good.

Just seen the attendance for the match at 3146. That’s terrible.

Worse was Huddersfield with 4900 for a match against Leeds who are the big pull team for them.

Yet we are behind these teams in the IMG with their rented grounds. It’s absolute madness Huddersfield, as do Wigan, have now lots of home matches as the football team call the shots. The penalty for not having primacy should be bigger.

Salford keep bringing players in but are so short of money they have announced next year’s season tickets to try and get some in.

Surely Salford can’t hang from the same thread for ever and the few Giants fans there actually are must wake up every morning and thank god for Ken Davey. As for the fixture list that’s just a joke having a home weighted schedule at the most important time of the season is a massive advantage.
