One of those games where we always seemed to have enough, I doubt Lingard will be happy with us defensively, energy levels may have suffered after the effort at Saints last week. Milller had a good game and deservedly took the man of the match even if he perhaps didn’t merit the eulogising by the commentators. Is there a reason the video refs don’t get involved for goal kicks? Two nights running now calls were dubious to say the least. But then again Fusitiua was awarded a try last night,caught the ball and touched it down, Video ref was quite happy everyone was onside from the kick which was very clever of him as Fusitua was so wide out he wasn’t even in shot. Trivial things I know but it’ll be different when the cock ups cost someone a win.

Game of 2 half’s.

First 40 totally in control, scored some lovey tries.
Gifted them 2 tries, QQ one on one. Then English giving a stupid penalty away.

Was expecting us to put 40+ points on them.

Second half our defence was soft, especially on our goal line. Though the supposed ball steal never happened, no clear view of it, but the video ref was adamant it happen. Lose carry for me in the attempt of scoring.

We seemed to wilt that last 20 mins. Attack weren’t the best.

Maturecasfan Looking back on some of Hoys performances under the high ball is interesting,if he gets in position early he’s solid as a rock,issue is when he has to readjust,one step towards the ball he’s fine,any more with attackers coming in and he becomes passive as if he’s not sure he’s going to get there (Or wants to) Whatever it is an issue and he needs to be far more commanding in those positions,it won’t take any opposition long to suss out if you drop the kick a couple of yards short of him he’s gonna flap.

It seems a coincidence thing to me. Personally you go for every kick. Never let it bounce.
