A great display again. People look at the saints team and say it’s weak but we are also missing players. It’s sour grapes from the saints contingent.
For the 3rd week in a row, the emphasis is on the opposite teams playing poorly against us but that isn’t the truth. The truth is we’re not giving them the time and space to shine. We are working so hard and it’s evident to see.
Last nights result was a gradual move forward by our team. Each player is taking responsibility for their actions and it’s great to see. We were reliant on westy, macca and watts to be the spark and the effort. Their efforts are just as good but others are now showing they are as good. Robb and horne are the obvious choices to prove it.
But lawler and Griffin were also outstanding. In fact, you couldn’t pick a player who let themselves or the team down.
A brilliant win. Lingard and his coaching team have worked wonders with this team. We are proud and it’s great.
