Toulouse really add nothing but are going to be fast tracked because they won’t claim any of the money, will pay the costs of the travelling teams and will provide free tv coverage of their matches.
So the pie is cut into bigger chunks which the owners will love, a saving of travel costs will save a few grand and then sky get the coverage free. That’s why they will be voted in and certainly by the grade A clubs that can afford to give juniors a go without fear of relegation. Creating an even larger gap to the rest.
Wakey are in a par with us but have better facilities at the moment. They’ll fall behind us when we complete our works. If we complete our short term works then we will be above them and should be about 8th.
Personally I think Toulouse will be dropped and then may take our place when we start our full build, that’s if we stay and fuddle a build. We could go elsewhere but would lose tenancy scoring.
By then Salford and leigh might have gone bust. Salford have been struggling for the last few years financially and Beaumont will blow a gasket if they are 13th. He’ll complain, make a fool of himself and leave them.
