Maturecasfan stuey In hindsight yes. But if his attitude is I don’t care, not here next season, I’d let him go. No good to us, a player putting a half hearted performance in every game.
stuey I did not know that Broadbent was leaving at the end of the season. Is that a fact or speculation? Of our signings, he has been one of the better ones, and has been playing well.
Maturecasfan stuey Just rumour stuey. Heard cas are trying to release him now to HRK, but he doesn’t wonna go there….thats rumour also. But the tex hoy was rumour also. So we’ll see.
RaoulDuke Watching Hoys highlight reel, he might be what we need. Am attacking fullback who can defend. We’ve really missed the link up play since hardaker left.
FlatCapper I’m hearing Cas offered Broadbent a new contract but not for the length he wanted. He’s therefore not signed it but I’m not sure he wants out. Chances are his agent will be looking for a club prepared to offer the length he wants but that may included the half season that’s left this year. Personally, I can’t see a top four outfit wanting him for more than 2 years at best.
Hepworth FlatCapper Me neither, and to be frank if he’s trying to put himself in the shop window to attract clubs he needs to be showing more than he has.
Maturecasfan Did well last season, one of our better players. Looks to me like he’s lost interest. The club need to stick to their principals. No more offering silly long term contracts.
RaoulDuke For a right centre he doesn’t pass right. QQ or senior would score a few of they got the ball in open play. Broadbent runs well but isn’t much of a threat and is no wingers centre. A 3 in and 2 out scenario is fine by me. 3 players who will fight for a position rather than the constantly injured Vete and disillusioned broadbent.
