Let’s not get too excited just yet and take it at face value. He’s bought a 25% share in the club so doesn’t have the main controlling interest. Should he get control, that would remove our current major shareholder who is still owed a significant sum by the Club. To finalise any takeover, Mr Foulton may request full payment of the monies he is owed, as well as the cost of his shares. A pretty tidy sum for someone to fork out.

He’s bought between 25% and 49.9%, not necessarily a flat 25. If they’re all shares from Fulton, Jepson essentially owns the club.

Yep, he definitely wants a take over. Will Fulton agree…….hes a stubborn bugger. The club needs a clean sweep, a total fresh start. Let’s hope this is just the beginning. But the old skeptic I am, been let down so many times with the club, I won’t hold my breath.

Looking at Mr Jepsons nett worth, even it’s been subjected to journalistic exaggeration he has sufficient funds to take over the club if he so wishes. Let’s hope this is just the first step.

How much is he worth not seen that

The thing is, financially, someone with 2m to spend could make a massive difference. Another bit of news in the pub, I’m told that a fulton has just made a couple of million from a property/land sale. (nothing to do with the tigers) Maybe the family are looking to sell up and move on.

Seen some negativity about this guy, mainly due to the fact he’s a property developer and he might have other reasons for investing rather than having a sporting interest. I think some are seeing a Trojan horse rather than a gift one. From what I’ve read he has been immensely successful in business, as COO of one of the worlds largest property investment companies he was seen as being open and approachable, and since starting his own company he’s gone from strength to strength, signing multi million pound deals with major institutions. This guy knows business,he knows property development, he is also absolutely minted and just happens to be a Cas fan. What’s not to like?

At the meet directors might they said they’d knocked back a few people who they believed didn’t have the best thoughts for the club. I know very little about this guy apart from what I’ve seen in social media. But if he can do what the wakey guy has done, we’ll go well. Fingers crossed.

I agree with you, however the club were criticised on several Cas groups (including the supporters club group) on Facebook for that statement, most complainants said what is the point of an announcement that announces nothing.

It seems they just cant win with loads of our “fans”

The squad is younger, healthier and hungry. The overseas players on paper are weaker and relatively unheard of but could be gold.

Watts, westy and macca may be getting older but Hall and Horne very capable.

I’m optimistic about the new squad and continue to hope they can deliver goods that won’t be taken away by IMG.

That picture was put up at the end of the signing announcement weeks ago. Some of the players by that point hadn’t even arrived in the country let alone been in cas to get a shirt to take a picture in. I take the fact that some of them stick out because of it but short of knocking up some photoshopped pictures which look fake anyway I’m not sure what else can be done. I’m sure there’ll be an official team photo soon enough.

Saw that and wondered the same about new owner.

My thoughts were that Mr Jepson had bought shares in the club but it’s now shown as a lender. I was hoping he’d paid up some of the fulton debt and got shares in exchange.

Ultimately it’s a cut and paste from companies house without context.
