Hull Live reporting Maguire has turned down the coaches role with us but that we are in advanced talks to bring in Milnes, so he could be our incoming half. The prop situation more complex, if we can free up a quota spot apparently Rhys Kennedy is an option,otherwise two championship props are still under consideration. As for our new coach……..any bodies guess.

looks stronger but not sure defensively strong.

mucky1978 Looks pretty decent,more pace and a decent blend of youth and experience. Defensively couldn’t be much worse than last year,for me no Miller and Edwards improves that no end,plenty of options to fill those spots on your bench depending on how you want to play and still some decent cover outside the first 17 when the injuries bite. A couple of decent youngsters who look like they could be gradually introduced rather than just be chucked in the deep end. Smaller squad can work as Leigh and Salford have shown if you can keep the guys on the field which has been a weak spot for us. I’ll assume your omission of Vete was just an oversight 😂

If you chucked Milnes & Kennedy and one more decent prop into that 17 it starts to look pretty sound. Lets hope the deals get done.

to be honest with all the comings & goings it will be interesting to see the new full squad when the shirt launch takes place as there may be yet more changes.

yes Mellor has been very disappointing either at centre of 2nd row.

TheFirm Signed a 2 year contract in 2022, there’s an option for a 3rd year but I haven’t heard we’ve excercised it. Same goes for Mustapha
