Time to erase this season out of my head and look forward to a better season next year. So glad it didn’t come down to the last match of the season and for once it went in our favour between us and our neighbours.

To be fair, I have no issue with Wakey at all, closer the better…… I guess my age makes me nostalgic for heritage clubs.

Won’t matter a jot if in 12 months time we’re both Oldham and Rochdale-ing it up playing up the hill at Batley.

We now need to seriously look at the club top to bottom.
Get rid of the dead beats.
Bring in quality players, not cheep Aussie second graders.

I’m still not 100% sure danny ward is the man to lead us forward.
I just hope the club make the right decisions.

Maturecasfan “cheap Aussie second graders” would be a MASSIVE improvement on the 2nd rate SL backups & reclamation projects (mainly from Hull and over the hill) that Radford signed.

Sign MORE players from the Super Cup etc in Aus if anything.

We need to be careful not to get too giddy here, pride comes before a fall. We need a complete clear out top to bottom and very quickly find new investment and get some movement on the ground. Otherwise we will be in major trouble in 12 months when the IMG gradings come in.

I’m gonna enjoy their relegation just like they did ours.

In relation to the IMG, if you can show me 12 teams stronger than Cas then we deserve to not be included. But the truth is there isn’t, in fact, there’s probably only 6 teams at most at A rated. Meaning it’s on a B rating and we are strong.
