Looking at our squad, Wigan will get 70 against us. Just hope that Wakey lose against Leigh or it will be a nervous week before the last round of matches, with Wakey having an easier match than us.,

Warrington got 66 against us, and Wigan are much better than them. Wigan beat us by 36-0 at our place.

Maturecasfan Can’t see Wakey troubling Leigh, and Wigan are so far ahead of Cats and Saints in terms of points difference,two wins will will see them take the LLS, and whatever Peet says if they’re comfortable against Cas they’ll be more interested in resting a few rather than running up a cricket score,bearing in mind they have Leigh away final day. From our perspective we need a bit more resolve than we showed against Wire,had they not spurned three certain tries we could have been on the wrong side of an eighty point embarrassment. Our heads went in that game,avoid that we’ll be fine.

I don’t think we’ll win but I’m confident Leigh will do the job and send Wakey down. Then we can relax and put this awful season behind us.

Not trying to be too over dramatic but for me this is one of the most important days in the club’s history. Avoiding relegation,especially with IMG running the show has never been bigger. With debts to service and no guaranteed way back into Super League I would fear for our survival as a full time club. If reports are true we’ve been moments from bankruptcy before,and not too much of a stretch to see that prospect again. The doom mongers say we will still not be competitive next season,that may well be but at least we’ll have the chance to be,and survival buys us more time to improve the ground,to bring in new investment. Survival gives us hope….being battered by Wigan is irrelevant if Wakey lose,I’ll take it anyway it comes,me and my nerves don’t need to be turning up at Headingley next week.

Survival is a bonus, i had all but accepted relegation and the challenges it would bring. I thought this holiday in Australia would have taken my mind off of this season but every time i have a cas shirt on i am pestered by friendly natives asking what has gone wrong at Cas.

Best we can wish for tonight is a leigh win.
No way will cas beat Wigan.
Wigan have too much to play for.
I just hope they don’t put a big score on us, though it’ll make no difference if leigh win.

We need for next season, if we survive, 2 big props who can gain some ground, 2 centres and a full back.

We are ok for wingers - Eden, QQ, Wallis, ok for 1/2s - Austin, Richardson, Widdop, Miller, and ok for back rowers - Lawler, Mellor, Edwards, Westerman, Griffin.
