If we can’t win this one, at home and last home match of the season then you get what you deserve.

One more win and that’s it for this season. Wigan will be tough and while I’d love it if we did manage to beat them realistically Leeds is a better target.
We always up our game against them and I’m sure Ward will want to get one over on his old club.
Hopefully Leigh and KR go all out and get the wins over Wakey too.
Key game this weekend between Wire and Salford, permutations be more apparent after that one, Leigh look booked for 4th at best but could still drop down a place or two with the wrong results. A win against Wakey would pretty much guarantee them a home game in the elimination play offs,so can’t see them taking the foot off the gas,going to Leeds for us with nothing on the line would be the perfect scenario. Take out the bookies margins and you’re talking 25/1 against Trinity staying up.
Wakey play teams who have something to play for. We play Wigan and by then Leeds won’t have anything to play for.
Last night we were great. Wasn’t sure about Eden at 6 but to mess with teams it works occasionally, like with broadbent. But it’s not the answer.
My man of the march was Wallis. He made a couple of mistakes but was outstanding out of back field and with the high balls, he goes back a couple of steps to run into the ball. He’s learning quick and is a deadset shoein at right wing.
QQ was very good aswell. Give him the ball and he will score. Ruined his hat trick with litten tripping him, at least he got a yellow.
Johnstone, best match for us. Ran well and tackled. Looked like he’s learning to take a step with the ball before passing.
The forwards worked hard and it was nice to see us playing players with something to prove. Muzzy did his work and deserves a go next week.
Westy again great but Watts was the star of the forwards. When he wants it he’s class.
My take is we’re now safe and we can go to Leeds and have a night out. It did highlight our need for a pacey halfback with an organiser like Austin. With Richardson and someone else.
Austin is worth a contract, if only for his kicking and organising game.
I’d give Austin a years contract, that’s if he’ll accept 1 year.
If not it’s Richardson and miller to start next year.
