We knew before the last round of fixtures that this game would be do or die and as things stand, it’s massive.
I never like the idea of players deliberately performing badly to get rid of their coach/manager but that performance against Hudds seemed to further highlight the possibility. If tur, these same individuals now need to prove their worth and lift their game back to where it can be. The Club, and their careers, are on the brink of no return.
We’ve seen the problems Wire are having recruiting a new coach so I’m doubtful Cas will find the ‘magician’ they need before Friday’s game. Time for the Senior players to take the lead and lift the rest.
