Where do we go as a club now, the obvious answers such as Batley etc will be ignored. Personally i think its too late to bring in players especially with our luck/ injury record. What happened to the rumoured buy out? Will the council ever grant us planning permission? Will Fulton continue to fiddle while his empire crumbles? How many of the squad will stay if we are relegated, sorry, when we are relegated? How many of the squad do we want to stay? The only bright side is that its a shorter ride to York for an away game for me I actually feel sorry for Andy Last, he inherited a very poor squad and cannot polish a turd, rolling it in glitter for the odd game will not save us. Unless we get some decent players signed and we improve massively pdq, we are sleepwalking into oblivion. That is what it will be in the Championship if/when we get relegated, as no hope of getting back into SL for years, with the new IMG proposals coming in. We don`t have a hope in hell, as we would get a low mark for facilities, playing strength and catchment area, especially if Featherstone and Wakefield are already in SL.

I really hope so,if we’re gonna go down go down fighting. Friday was deeply disappointing for so many reasons. Firstly our half decent start was ruined by three missed forward passes,two of which resulted in tries,not to mention a knock on that I could see from 30 yards away. So almost from the get go we were snookered. But absolutely none of that can excuse our forward pack not making metres or being able to bust a tackle and thats not a skill thing it’s an effort thing and that is insulting to every supporter who coughed up their hard earned to support them. We had a loanee half back who looked like he was passing time until he could get the next bus back to Warrington, and defensively at times showed the positional intelligence of a sprout. So in short we have some players who looked unwilling to bend their backs,a coach who seemingly can’t motivate them to bend their backs,and a board who won’t bring in players to bend their backs. Sadly for all concerned and without a hint of sarcasm the answer probably is the one you didn’t want to hear…..Batley! Because if we don’t address those fundamentals and quickly it’s where we’re heading.

Think I summed up my frustrations in the match thread however the players also need to be held accountable. We’ve had enough experience in our squad over the season for us not to be in this position and quite a few of them have been lazy on the pitch.

We need a change in attitude, we can’t just sleep walk through the season, we’re in a proper relegation battle now and the players and Last need to step up and show everyone that we have some fight in us.

The season is in our hands. We’re two points above Wakefield and if we win more than them we secure our spot for next season. Sit back and we’ll go down as they’re going to pick up a few more wins at least.

I just hope we have a plan for next season. Recruitment needs to improve massively for us to have a chance.

I don’t think I can add much different to what has been said, it is REALLY real now if anyone wasn’t clear before this weekends results should make that message loud and clear that one of us or Wakey are going down.

I think we’ve been badly let down by our overseas players. These players are supposed to be better than we can get in the UK but barring Miller and Edwards, they would struggle to get into the Keighley side.

The team is so disjointed because it doesn’t play together enough due to injuries and players dropped for poor form.

I think that panic buying is our only option but who is there to buy. It’s clear we don’t want to spend money.

Conspiracy theories are a complete and utter waste of time. Stop looking to blame those outside of the Club and look at the Club itself.

As stated above, the silence is deafening and whilst that may be because the man running the shower is on leave, that in itself speaks volumes. He should be working overtime to try and secure new signings that will improve the squad and give us a chance in the final push.

I watch the Super League sow highlights last night and some of the defending was abysmal. ¾ Leigh tries scored by players almost walking through tackles. For the life of me I cannot understand why any player relying on their efforts to secure a living is literally grasping at thin air.

I’ve seen on socials comments attributed to Andy Last, reiterating his point about no one available that will improve us. There are those willing to come for a bumper pay day, players who may ultimately deny a home-grown player some development that could turn them into a quality player down the line and other piles of tosh that bear no resemblance to reality.

Mr Last, we need players to stop us getting relegated this year. That is the no1 priority. Stay up and we can build for the future.

If Last’s comments are the genuine view and approach of the Club, we have no chance. Ostriches burying their heads in the sand.

because our club is now toxic & it appears no one wants to play for us, our board aren’t bothered so why should anyone else be bothered, we even gave two forwards away without any replacements, it goes on & on. we are told players aren’t available whilst other clubs are signing players on left right & centre, but here lies the problem, no matter who we get they will not get the best out of them under Mr Last. as the saying goes we are doomed, in my mind we will not win another game!

Honestly we’ve missed more boats than could possibly be from probably 1986 on!

I wish I’d been more forceful when I wrote to Jack about 20 years ago. Maybe I couldn’t make a difference, but at least I wouldn’t feel like part of the problem!
