As an indirect replacement to Smith I’d say he’s better. If he stays injury free then he’ll go ok in the starting lineup. Not a game changer or someone who’ll get us out of this mess though.

Not had much of a look in at Wire but apparently put in some decent performances when on loan. Looks the best of what’s available this side of the pond.

It makes the move of Smith to Fev a bit more palatable. Dean was on loan to Fev for the year, went back to wire and then to us. I wonder if Fev stepped aside as we’d helped them?

I like this signing, having watched this lad play for both HFC and Widnes he will bring a lot of desire and heart to the squad.
He is no McShane but the lad is a grafter and that is what we need at the moment

At least with Johnstone and Robb we can cover the hooking role for 80 minutes which has got to be a positive. Sad to read today that Bailey Hodgson’s season in Aus has come to an end through injury and that he may be set for a return to Super League. Looked to have a bright future when he left us,maybe we’d be the right place to rebuild his career.

well it’s widely reported across the socials that we’ve signed a PNG player for next season.

Sounds positive but I’ve also seen he’s suffered an ACL injury a short while back and won’t be fit for the start of the season.

You really couldn’t make it up. I mean, it’s not like we’ve ever sign a player that literally played no games over 2 years die to injury or injuries. No, we’ve not signed one player like that, not one. Two at least but not one.

I just cannot get my head around the sheer lunacy of those current running this once great club into the ground.

Yes, it doesn’t make sense. You’d have thought we’d have learnt something.

But in saying that, Leigh gambled on a few players and it’s worked better than fine.

Namo won’t be expensive and could be an excellent signing. Same with Putt. It’s pretty clear that we won’t spend NRL prices and I reckon the actual success percentage is about 15 for Cas. Look at us only using 2 or 3 of our 7 allowed.

Foster is official, club just announced it.
Also signed a Greek international who plays for Canterbury bulldogs, only make 2 appearances for the first team.
Looks a big lad at 6ft 4ins……..and only 28.

Well it’s more boots on the pitch. Foster always went well for us, never heard of the other guy, hopefully he’ll give us some much needed go forward.

Matt Foster doesn’t excite me much but he’s solid which we need. But I am excited by the Greek lad, my brother in Oz says he’s been unlucky not to get more chances ,says he’s big,stong,mobile and has decent ball skills,just what we need.
