the result we all expected but I did see a few positives from my armchair but more importantly, I saw many areas tat require simple tweaking to gain improvement.
The main was a simple ability to pass and catch a ball. Clear opportunities went array simple because some cannot play the very basics of the game. Beyond excusable at pro level.
Defensively, we made Josh Griffin look a world beater…again! He’s as soft as s…ummat really soft and if you hot him hard early on, you never see him again. Bit like his brother. 😜 we also need to move up quicker in defence. There were several occasions where Hull were stationery with ball in hand and we just stood back and waited. If fitness is a serious issue, what is Last doing to improve it?
Matagi ran it well ’til the end and Broadbent still looked sharp from the back. Just not involved enough from there.
Westerman and McShane tried but with 2 hookers on the bench, why start with Lawler at 9? Let him play as a back rower for God’s sake.
