Like others, I have no genuine idea of the catchment criteria but perhaps it is based on the potential for growth? The larger the catchment area, the greater the opportunity for growth and vice versa.
Having a low catchment area, albeit with a higher percentage of attendance per head of catchment, we have a reduced capacity to grow the business and attract larger crowds, thus not growing the game.
This is why I believe our catchment area should include the East of Leeds towns, Pontefract, Knottingley and heading South to the boundary towns with South Yorkshire. Somewhere in excess of 120,000 folk.
