Which kids are available to step up and take their chance?
Drop Widdop, he's playing the club for everything they have. When was the last match you actually thought that he was decent? Never showed up on the international stage and hasn't done a thing in SL.
Evalds, Eden and Broadbent are fine. The only few glimmers of speed and attack we have.
McShane is done unfortunately. Love him as a player but he's a shadow of his former self. Can't remember if Robb is injured or not but he needs to start.
Forwards.... yeah well they aren't doing much of that.
Wakefield will find a way to win and there's nobody else around us at the moment.
We're back to being Cas of old again, players nobody really wants and a lack of spirit. It's so disappointing that we never kicked on from 2017 and became so much more. We had the product on field and with a bit more investment we could have been so much better, players actually wanted to join us and be a part of what we were building, we're just a shell of that now.
Sorry to Andy Last but if the club announce him as the permanent coach we're in trouble. We need someone who's going to come in and shake things up - the issue with that is I'm not sure they'll have the backing from the BOD to do that or the cash available.
We can either spend our way out of this mess or look forward to playing lower league clubs again with a very slim hope of being promoted thanks to the new rules being brought back in.
