i think we will struggle as salford do most things right & they didnt miss absent players against leigh although leigh did close up on them late in the game.

Well, an opportunity to improve, the win I am less bothered about than how we play to some extent. I think we universally agree we have not played well other than in France. Are we moving forward or have we just edged past two teams who were worse. I don't think it will be close either way myself, 2 scores + either way, I think someone finds their fluency. Hope it is us.

Everyone seems resigned to a relegation battle so for me, this ne will either support or dismiss that theory. For me, we need to win and start believing in ourselves/

Matt Scrap that. I know Last can only do so much when the players get on to the field however I think we need someone else to come in and take a fresh look at things. Awful awful match.

Worst Salford performance of the season and they still had more than enough,says it all really. I don't think we've actually got the players to hurt the opposition,my only hope is a new coach can come in and change things to somehow make a silk purse out of this sows ear,or if he isn't a magician,hooefully he can at least keep us up and get a squad for next season that's at least capable of competing.

We really are poor. Salford were rubbish tonight, but we were even worse, just can not see where our next win is coming from. Our defence is ok against poor sides as tonight and last week, but our attack and ability to score tries is non-existent. The Salford second try was a forward pass.

Can only agree with that assessment,what I can't quite fathom is how,having seen every game this season we are 3rd on the Opta stats for "Metres made" That just doesn't compute in my head,because if your making that many metres and your up there in the "offload" stats,which we are,why the hell aren't we putting more points on the board. The error count is an obvious answer,we simply make too many. Are we as so many say just playing 5 tackles and a kick,again not according to the stats,we kick less on 5th tackle than the majority of teams,they just do it better. There's just no correlation between some of the numbers we're putting up and what I'm seeing. Answers on a postcard please...
