Seems strange when he left Wigan because it was to far to travel.

Maturecasfan He might not have much of a choice.
He might be a good player, but over his career Zak has left every club under a cloud. Didn’t get to the end of his contract at Leeds, Cas or Wigan.
RL is a small industry and he’s a high risk that most clubs don’t need to take. As is often with these players, if he ends up at Leigh it’s because they need to take a bigger risk than other clubs to try and survive. If he wants to carry on earning a decent wage playing RL, it’s probably going to be for a team that has more need to take a gamble on him.

Probably a good solid signing for leigh if true. They need to reduce their quota players and a signing of Zac's quality will help them enormously

I hope they do, could really do with some teams bucking the trend on going straight back down, while ever that happens it just gives ammo to the higher ups that promotion doesn't really help achieve long term stability.
