If we beat Salford on Monday while Les Cats give Leeds a good hiding in France it sets Saturday’s game up brilliantly.

Can't find a single positive indicator for this game! I have said on the bicker-forum, anyone not in our plans for 2023, I would give them the weekend off, it is a free hit for us, I would rather go down watching the future than a patched up past.

Only thing I am clinging on to is when you have nothing to lose, there is a freedom in that, stranger things have happened, but I am writing in hope not expectation.

mdean I must admit, I've been discussing the pros and cons of going to this match with myself all week!

I've finally decided I should go, and as it's quite possibly going to be the last game of the season, I'd like to be there to witness it live - I just hope we go out with effort and attitude.

I also hope and pray that Thaler refs the game fairly and polices both sides equally. Let's make a good game of it, rather than a stop-start (un)spectacle.

I stand by my previous statement in that Super League is destroying itself with attempt at implementing the new rule changes, and having just watched the Roosters v Rabbitos it confirms we're a country mile behind that league.

In the end, what turned out to be a heroic effort ended in heartbreak.

Ultimately, when we needed to half backs to close out the game, we let it slip.

The Macca kick many will look at that led to the break as a game changer, and it was, but it isn't his job.

If the DG went over and so on and or that kick bounces bad and so on..... I leave the season proud. 5 halves out and players missing galore and they scraped through and my Rhinos mates were confident they had a strong squad out.
Put that effort on the field with more players doing their OWN job, we have something in 2023.

2022 C-, did the best with what we had available mostly.

Great gutsy performance considering we had 3 of our "spine" out. Either of Richardson, Trueman or O`Brien would have got that drop goal, and they would not have got the ball back to score that last try.
