With nothing to play for and little pressure to boot, I think the Wire will be looking to sign out for the season on a high and so I think it will be a tough game. I'm hoping for the win, everything crossed, but I'm feeling more confident with the next two games against Salford and Leeds as I see one of them, more likely Leeds, slipping up before the regular season closes.

A great win in the end, but surely we can't play as poorly as we did in the first half in the next two games. Monday's game at home should be a cracker if the Jungle can get behind them. I fancy the Cats to beat the Rhinos too which will lead to another cracking game later in the week. Does anybody know if Edwards failed his HIA? Should have a couple of fresh faces in Matagi and Milner too if I am correct which could help us to build a little momentum for these two games, as long as we avoid the disciplinary panel I suppose.

It’s a good job Toulouse didn’t rack up any more wins. Not a great start to his career with them being 11th now. Know we’ve had issues this season but I’d take our season over theirs any day.

The only thing with Powell is he loves a project or two - or more 😂 which wasn’t really a problem when he was at Cas. Winning silverware is a huge bonus and achievement to the club however at Wire that’s different. I doubt they’ll agree to half of the types of players he likes to sign.

He’s a great coach and I have nothing but praise on how he turned our club around but I’m not convinced about his position yet - maybe I’ll be wrong and he’ll take every trophy on offer next season.
